Pursuant to §3.1.2 of the N.T.H.M Bylaws, Qualified Members have received this notice that the 2024 Annual General Meeting and Election will be held in 21 calendar days at NTHM.
This post outlines the date, time, location, and agenda of the Annual General Meeting and Elections. Should you have any questions or need clarification please direct your inquiries NTHM.President@gmail.com

In accordance with §3.1.5 of the N.T.H.M Bylaws, the Agenda will be as follows:
A-Confirmation of minutes of previous general meeting. Please note there are two sets of minutes attached to this email for your review, and two attachments related to those meetings.

B-Statement regarding any amendments/changes to the Bylaws Please note there are no proposed by-laws or amendments being presented at the 2024 AGM
A copy of the most recent version of the NTHM Bylaws is attached for reference. Refer to NTHM Bylaws_v2024.pdf
C- Acceptance of reports - general and financial - These will be presented for review at the 2024 AGM.
D- Election of executive office bearers for the ensuing year - Nominations will occur during 2024 AGM.
E- Election of Board of Trustee members, when necessary. - Nominees for a BoT seat for 2025-2030 term will be presented.
F - Any other matter that should be discussed at the general meeting - please submit any new business to NTHM.President@gmail.com PRIOR to 02 Nov 2024.
If you are unable to attend the 2024 NTHM Annual General Meeting, you may designate a Proxy/Agent to represent you during voting /elections. Please complete the attached 2024 Proxy Assignment Form. Please note that if you are standing as someone’s proxy you must sign the Proxy Acceptance Form.

South Asian Heart Health Fair
South Asian Heart Health Fair
The North Texas Hindu Mandir and UT Southwestern Medical Center Division of Cardiology is sponsoring a heart health fair on October 19th. South Asians are at higher risk for heart disease, and heart disease hits them earlier in life. A study called MASALA aims to identify health risks faced by the South Asian community and to educate health care professionals who treat them. MASALA stands for Mediators of Atherosclerosis in South Asians Living in America. Launched in 2010, it has uncovered important details about heart health in the South Asian community. With the divine grace of Pujya Sri Tara Ma and with the blessings of Brahmaleen Param Pujya Sri Swami Omkaranandaji Maharaj this Aarogyavardini Pooja has been conducted every year during this auspicious month all over Sri Tara Ma Mission Centers.
